Marrakech - who will be the best rug salesperson in your family
Marrakesh is a multi-award-winning board game where each player takes on the role of a rug salesperson trying to outwit each other.
The award-winning board game Marrakech provides a unique experience in strategy gaming. A beautifully produced game which was on the Spiel Des Jahres nomination list for 2008, and won or was nominated for Austrian, German, French and American awards.
Each player starts with 10 coins and an equal number of carpets.
The bazaar is bustling as Assam, the market organizer, inspects the rugs to determine which of them is the best. On a players turn, they turn Assam and roll a die to determine which rug space he moves to. If he lands on an opponent’s rug, you must pay them coins. Then the player places a rug in hopes that Assam lands on it during another player’s turn.
The game ends when all players have played all carpets. Each gets 1 coin per visible square.
The player with most rugs and coins wins!
