Catan Histories - Merchants of Europe Standalone game
Catan Histories - Merchants of Europe Standalone game
Catan Merchants of Europe is a standalone game in the popular Catan series. You play as a merchant in Europe, and your role is to expand your trade empire by delivering commodities to your opponents' Cities.
If you are familiar with Catan the trading posts in 'Merchants of Europe' are just like settlements in the Catan base game.
Players begin with three trading posts positioned on terrain hexes which produce the resources lumber, wool, grain, ore, and salt.
Resources are used to expand across the game map.
The trading posts are used to recruit merchants who can build new trading posts in distant cities of Europe and provide access to further resources.
Caravans are sent out along your trade routes to opponents' trading posts. When the caravans have arrived, your commodities are delivered.
That's what Catan Merchants of Europe is all about – be the first player to transport all his commodities to the opponents' trading posts and become the best Merchant in Europe.
Games, expansions and Extensions in the Settlers of Catan board game range.
